Within the Robox project, Maastricht University is positioned in-between the biocatalysis labs and the application. The new molecules coming from the biocatalysis labs will be used for the synthesis of polymers which can be applied in inks and coatings. The application tests will be done in close collaboration with industrial partners like Chemstream. Checking of each stage in the value chain and validating together with strategic technical partners and potential customers should provide evidence for upscaling Robox molecules and new business development with new functional coating and ink materials.
